Books - 'FORBIDDEN '

People say...
dwelling on memory
is a matter of stupidity
advertisements say....
attitude of living in past is profitable
to sell a commodity ....
more nostalgic customers ;
more crazy purchasers .

but my sense is quite different here
hidden from your eyes
sitting in the house's extreme corner
from your wooden drawer
often I had read many books 'FORBIDDEN'
child magazines...Champak..Nandan
did appeal me
but those books 'forbidden'
couldn't resist me
although they are damaged by
cruel white termite
yet some of them
chuckle ,smile,laugh,cry
with many characters in real life .
I know @ the age of teen
my action was really mean
but I had been helped by that only
proving a real healer in my loneliness
opening the door for enjoyment
that has shown real friendliness
being honest...I would tell you
@ the age of forty four
I am still the fraud
I like thoughtful people's presence
I love their ideas
appreciate their very existence
as each one of them
reminds me of you

being part of the star
you've gone very far
but my dear father
i know.....
you had secretly approved of
that one hidden scar .
